Strategies

Battle 1

  • This is a straightforward battle with just two 4-digits enemies of Lancer class. Even when bringing Sabers, there is no difficulties as of this one.

Battle 2

  • 81,712 HP is pretty big on Assassins, and they come in two enemies, meaning that you will at least take 1 NP from them.

Battle 3

  • Caligula’s special skill increases critical hit rate by 80%. Coupled with his Berserker class, this level is one which should be cleared as fast as possible.

Strategies & Recommended Servants

  • It's recommended to start out with 1 Saber and 2 Casters, since the 1st wave enemies are 4-digit HP Sabers while the 2nd wave has Assassins with 81,712 HP. This will at least minimize the chance of taking multiple Assassin NP.
  • As stated, Caligula is a great threat since he's a Berserker with great Critical damage. If one of your teammates has an NP that decreases defense, this will be a good deal (eg: Okita).
  • For tanks, you can use Chevalier d'Eon, since d'Eon is a Saber-class tank. d'Eon will make a good candidate of the 1st Saber.
  • You can still manipulate Caligula's Critical chance so he wouldn't be able to take advantage of his special skill, so if you have either Jack the Ripper, Carmilla or Brynhild, you can use them, and if they're also your main damage dealer, they can still deal a good deal of damage to Caligula, a Berserker.
  • If you can reliably stun Caligula, it'll be a great boon, especially when he's ready to unleash his NP. Scathach combines being a good damage dealer and a reliable stun via her NP, so you can put her in.

  • It's important to keep a steady rotation on your healing skills and Medea's NP in order to keep the party alive, so building Medea's NP is always good
  • Wave 1 is used to build NP
  • Focus fire on one Killing Doll, don't worry if you have to take at least 1 NP from them. Continue to sustain with Medea and then take out the other one, leaving only the Homunculus.
  • The Homunculus will be able to unleash one NP. Mitigate with Waver's defense buffs and Medea's healing. If all goes right, the Homunculus won't have a chance to use another NP. Waver ends up dying due to the Drain skill, so the remaining turn is used to build up Okita's NP.
  • Come the third wave, use all Attack Buffs available concentrated on Okita and have her unleash NP on Caligula, and quickly finish him off while building NP for another NP strike. Then focus fire on one Homunculus each.
  • The Homunculus both draining gets really annoying and makes it difficult to do damage to them so in hindsight maybe take at least one of those out first, but then you will be taking much heavier hits from Caligula, the choice is yours

  • A 3 Star or 4 Star saber should be good enough for this battle, but a backup damage dealer would be good as well.
  • Use the first wave to build up NP. As the enemies are weak, get as much NP as possible
  • In wave 2, get the Killing Dolls to 60,000 to 75,000 HP range, so Babbage can one-shot them with his NP. His role is technically over here, if he ends up dying after this, it's OK.
  • Continue farming NP to proceed to wave 3
  • The Homunculus can be destroyed with Altria's Excalibur just once, and also takes out half of Caligula's health. Continue pressing on Caligula until he dies. An extra damage dealer is appreciated if any of the frontliners die, but apparently that isn't the case.

  • Maybe you do not start out with a Saber, but as long as your damage dealer is durable and strong enough, this strategy will work.
  • As usual, first wave is reserved for generating NP
  • By the second wave, focus fire on the Killing Dolls one at a time. Don't be afraid to unleash Brynhild's NP on one of them if it will quicken their defeat.
  • Brynhild uses the Teacher & I CE in order to ensure she gets high critical gather rate even when her third skill isn't active, signifying her role as main damage dealer.
  • Use Mash to tank and time her skill/NP well with whenever any of the enemies are using their NP. Always keep your team healthy with Hans, because the Homunculus' skill Absorb bypasses any sort of invincibility and can kill. Having your NPs ready before the next wave is recommended.
  • In the third wave, focus on Caligula to prevent him to have an extra turn to attack your party (he can end up wasting his turn buffing), but hope that Hans gets killed in action. When Leonidas enters, the real action begins.
  • If you time it well, have Leonidas use Taunt and evasion (via Mystic Code), and if he has an Arts card, he will have his NP filled by the time of the enemy turn. In the next turn, ensure that Mash has full NP as well, if not, have her tank a round with her skills.
  • In the next turn, activate both Mash's and Leonidas' NPs altogether, this makes Leonidas an almost unbreakable tank that not even a critical-hitting Caligula can break through
  • Leonidas' NP will leave behind a lot of Critical Stars, therefore in the next turn, you can boost Brynhild with everything you got (Her own NP/Buster up, her own Critical Gather Rate, Leonidas' party-wide Buster up, Mystic Code Attack Up), and if you've been chipping his HP all the while, an NP Brave Chain will instantly kill him. (I didn't, since Caligula has a DEF-up Imperial Privilege and I had a bad draw that didn't make a Brave Chain, but since his NP was not damaging, the next turn, he dies)
  • At this point, all that remains was to kill the Homunculuses, if any of your party members die, what awaits them is Altria Alter, a Saber, the Homunculus' natural weakness (Lancer). If you reached this point, there's no way you can lose.

  • Use the first wave to build up NP.
  • Prioritize on killing the Assassins after blasting them with Elizabeth's NP. If they don't die, you'll at least take a huge chunk of their HP and makes it easier to not allow them to unleash their NP.
  • Taunt with d'Eon to defend your party and sustain d'Eon with Hans. Usually the Lancer's NP takes priority for d'Eon's taunting time.
  • Keep Elizabeth's NP ready for the next wave
  • In the third wave, so long as d'Eon's and Elizabeth's NPs are up, you can begin with taking a huge chunk of enemy HP (just buff them first)
  • If any other enemy aside from Caligula survives, immediately turn d'Eon's taunt and evade on to absorb all the attacks.
  • Once d'Eon dies, the battle becomes a race thanks to Caligula hitting very hard and taking big damage himself.
  • Stun him with Mystic Code as necessary while you build up Crits and NP (Lily's skills come to mind).
  • A combined NP5 of both Lily and Elizabeth will kill him in one hit, but in any case that one of them fall, no need to worry. Alter and Dantes can take care of him afterwards.
  • If you have Kaleidoscope, you can switch Alter's Limited/Zero Over with it.

lmao
Lmao all these whale strategies to beat a "simple" mission like this lulz
Tamamo? Zhuge Liang? SSR Sabers?
Pfft, I did it with lv 30 Caesar, lv 40 Medea, lv 80 Liz, lv 60 Kiyo, lv 80 Shiki and Dantes.
Just charged Dantes' NP with the first weak turns, then used all the buffs from Caesar and Liz on him and swapped him with my 6th slot with my mystic code.
Lv 40 Medea took care of the Assassins, and Shiki Insta-Killed the Homunculus.
Then I just waited until my team got beaten to the point Dantes came back.
Kiyo NP into Dantes NP and I wiped the field.
Cheerio
I defeated Caligula pretty easy with Euryale (her NP almost insta-kill him) and d'Eon for tank him
Raiel
This page recommends Carmilla for her 3rd skill which isn't available yet in NA at the same time this quest is out.
Raiel
Quest 5 was super easy with Tamamo-no-Mae, Elizabeth (Caster), and Okita. Didn't take any enemy NPs (killed the 2nd battle dolls in 2 rounds with Elizabeth's NP) or massive crits from Caligula (Okita killed him with a single brave chain off a Purely Bloomed NP). Didn't lose a single servant.
