Kaleidoscope is one of the most versatile CE in the game as starting the battle with 80% NP charge is something too good to be passed up on especially when you are farming event stages. Kaleidoscope along with the NP charges provided by Zhuge Liang or Merlin allows the servant to directly unleash his/her NP on the first turn without even need to attack.
Kaleidoscope is suitable to be used by anyone but you may want to equip it to servants that have difficulties in building up their NP gauge, which is a common weakness among Berserker class.
