Edmond Dantes exists as one of the few Avenger class servant in the game which can do quite a bit of damage on his own and has a high critical stars generation rate. However, besides offensive ability he doesn’t really have anything else to offer and falls off the chart when it comes to NP efficiency.
Pros
High damage output. Edmond has a whopping 12k attack at max level which only lose out slightly to Sakata Kintoki. Besides that, he can also further increase his attack by 50% with his Determination of Steel skill that also comes with the ability to pierce invincibility for a turn.
Excellent critical stars generation. Edmond has high number of hit counts on all of his command cards and with a star generation rate of 5.9%, he can act as a decent star supplier but not a critical-hitting servant due to the fact that he only has a star absorption of 30. Together with his Wisdom from Desperation skill that provides 20 critical stars at max level, he works well together alongside another servant with high star absorption as they can utilize the critical stars better than he does.
Cons
Can be quite fragile. Even though Edmond’s base attack value is one of the highest in the game, the same cannot be said to his HP stat as it is below the average for a 5* servant. Moreover, he doesn’t have any means to protect himself except a slight increase in debuff resistance which doesn’t really count as he is still vulnerable to incoming damage. The Wisdom from Desperation skill can be used to delay the enemy’s NP for a turn but that is all that he can do.
Difficult to build up NP gauge. Although Edmond does have the Golden Rule skill to increase his NP efficiency but even so, he wasn’t able to accumulate his NP charge with only one Arts card in his deck. Moreover, due to his low star absorption don’t expect him to critical as often despite having a high stars generation rate.
Strategies & Tips
Edmond is an attacker that has a high base attack and as one of the few Avenger class servant in the game he works pretty well especially against Ruler class servant since besides Berserkers, Avengers are the only one that can deal effective damage against them. With a command deck of QQABB and a Quick type NP, expect him to generate quite an amount of critical stars which also get supplemented by his high hit count.
Noble Phantasm
Edmond’s Noble Phantasm, Enfer, Château d'If is an AOE NP that deals damage to every enemies while reducing their defense and inflicts Curse upon them. As a Quick type NP it is not going to deal as much damage but with attack buff from his first skill the damage done is decent enough, couple with the large of critical stars generated after use.
Edmond can act as a critical star supplier to JAlter as she has a much higher star absorption after using her Self-Modification skill despite having only a mere 29 star absorption before using it.
Edmond can provide a continuous stream of critical stars to Jack as she can absorb all the stars effectively and translates them into high critical damage.
When equipped to Edmond Dantes only, increase Quick Card effectiveness for all allies by 15% while on the field

Upgrade Priority
Skill Priority: 1 > 2 / 3
Although the increase in attack is only for a turn, we would like to raise his first skill first as the attack buff can be devastating when using it along with his NP. Next, our choices is split between either the second or the third skill depending on whether you want him to be able to charge up his NP gauge more effectively or provides more critical stars to the party.

Edmond’s command cards performance is excellent in terms of critical stars generation but pretty average when it comes to NP efficiency as he only has one Arts card and it is difficult for him to land a critical despite the large amount of critical stars generated.
