Heracles is a Berserker most well-known due to his survivability, though a large part of this can be attributed to his famous bond CE - which makes him one of the best Servants for last stand scenarios. Aside from it, his skillset still leans on the defensive side, with an Evasion skill as well as Guts. His NP and first skill greatly increases his damage in burst turns, allowing him to compete against other Berserkers in that regard.
However, as Heracles lacks any sort of skill assisting his NP gain, this means that outside assistance would be needed for him to fill his NP gauge. When his bond CE is equipped, if he still has an ally on the field, it is possible for opponents to make him use more than one Guts in a single turn - in a sense, wasting his survival - meaning that he should be deployed with care.
Pros
Powerful offense.
Solid defensive kit.
Amazing bond CE.
Cons
His strongest point (bond CE) requires a rather specific situation to truly shine.
Needs NP gain assistance from other Servants.
Strategies & Tips
Generally speaking, Heracles is a rather flexible Servant - he can be brought in the frontline (preferably with the assistance of somebody capable of helping him gain NP, such as Zhuge Liang), or in the backrow, with a starting NP CE. Once he gets his bond CE, however, Heracles is best used as a last stand Servant for certain stages - in a pure last stand situation, he can survive for 5 turns on his own (which may be extended to 7 turns with sufficient skill level and a Master Evasion/Invincibility).
Noble Phantasm
Nine Lives is a Buster-type damage-dealing single-target Noble Phantasm, which reduces the target’s defense for three turns. Due to the defense down, this NP is ideal as a starter to Heracles’ Brave chains, and should be used as such.
Zhuge’s 50% NP gauge increase is highly appreciated by Heracles. His defense and attack buffs also increase his overall performance, and he also works well with any Taunter Servant which may be brought along.
Known for being somewhat tricky to use, Leonidas was one of the less appreciated Taunt Servants before his upgrade. After that, however, the Buster buff he provides makes him a perfect match for most Berserkers, something that is further aided by the critical stars his NP provide.
Possessing the highest percentage defense buff among all Taunt Servants, St. George is a natural fit for any Berserker due to the ease of which he could be used. He also has good synergy with Servants such as Zhuge Liang, which further increases his desirability.
Recommended for situations where Heracles’ NP is needed early on in the stage. The higher percentage ones are especially useful in the absence of NP gain supports, while the 50% starting NP variants would be enough with such supports in the team.
Increases Heracles’ overall Buster damage. Should be used when multiple Servants capable of increasing NP gauge are available, or in longer fights where Heracles is deployed as a frontline Servant.
Easily Heracles’ best CE, it allows him to survive much longer in last stand scenarios. If this CE is used, he should be positioned as the last member of the party to maximize his potential.

Bravery A+
Increases Heracles’ attack and mental debuff resistance for three turns. While this skill is mostly used for the first part, the second somewhat makes up for Heracles’ lack of Magic Resistance, which means that he can potentially avoid certain annoying debuffs (especially Charm).
Eye of the Mind (False) B
Applies Evasion (1 turn) on himself as well as increasing his critical damage for three turns. Being a Berserker, Heracles would rarely be able to perform criticals, meaning this skill’s worth mainly lies in its Evasion. As a result, leveling this skill may feel somewhat useless - however, the cooldown reduction gained may be the difference between life and death in last stand situations.
Battle Continuation A
While at times highly questionable on other Servants, Battle Continuation is an important part in Heracles’ kit, especially with his bond CE in mind. This skill, when combined with his bond CE and Evasion, allows Heracles to survive for 5 turns straight on his own, which is an impressive feat. However, the fact that it has to be used after his bond CE’s Guts are gone means that reducing this skill’s cooldown is not a priority.

Heracles’ QABBB deck allows him to have great sustained damage, which is especially important for his last stand performance. It does hamper his NP gain quite a bit, however, though he makes up for it somewhat through his good defending NP gain.
