During her release, Caster Elizabeth pioneered a new playing style - that is, critical teams which provide their own critical stars through skills instead of relying on Quick cards’ star generation. In fact, the amount of critical stars she generates - up to 12 stars per turn, with an additional 8 available when needed - is pretty impressive. Her triple Arts deck allows the team to more easily gain NP, which is highly appreciated in Buster-oriented teams. Additionally, due to her free status, it means that she will be able to reach NP5 easily, something which is further augmented by her Mana Burst skill. Due to the healing and Guts effects she possesses, Caster Elizabeth is overall a pretty self-sufficient Servant.
As with all other damage dealer Casters, however, her biggest weakness is the 0.9 Caster damage modifier, which means that even at her NP5, her damage would only be middling (at 21,647 calculated self-buffed damage compared to Saber Alter’s 29,337). This disadvantage also undermines her normal cards’ damage. Additionally, other than her NP and the critical star she provides, she has no real supporting capability, especially in regards to the team’s survival.
Pros
Good critical star generation via skills.
Fairly survivable.
Decent NP damage due to easy NP5.
Multiple Arts cards.
Cons
Low effective attack due to Casters’ modifier.
No survivability aid for teammates, despite being a semi-support.
No NP upgrade.
Unavailable outside the event.
Strategies & Tips
Elizabeth is best used as a secondary damage dealer in critical-oriented teams. Typically paired with a critical damage dealer, this means that the team would still need a good support to keep themselves alive - preferably one with a star generation skill to go in hand with Bathory’s own skillset. Her Guts skill (and the 8 stars that come with it) should be used to ensure an ally’s critical Brave chains, while her NP is best used to clear waves of lower-HP enemies.
Noble Phantasm
Báthory Halloween Erzsébet is a Buster-type damage-dealing AoE Noble Phantasm, which applies curse on all opponents for three turns. Due to the NP5 status, this NP will deal a decent amount of damage despite Bathory’s low effective attack, and it is fairly spammable thanks to her deck. When overcharged, the curse may be useful in stages with defense buff gimmicks, but it is normally quite negligible.
With a star generation skill, healing capabilities, as well as a hard defensive option in her NP, Jeanne is one of the best options for Elizabeth - though her somewhat high critical weight may pose somewhat of a problem for the main damage dealer.
With healing, buffs, as well as critical star generation, Hans is an ideal partner for Elizabeth, though notably, this pairing lacks a defensive option against opponents’ NPs. In exchange, however, Hans also aids the team’s offensive side.
Buster-oriented Critical Damage Dealer: Gilgamesh, Ishtar, Ramesses II These are the Servants who benefit most from Elizabeth’s critical stars. She also enhances their overall AoE capability, and her decent survivability means that the team can focus more on the damage dealers’ survival. Additionally, she also helps them in gaining NP.
Merlin provides healing as well as a hard defensive option - he also increases the performance of Buster-type damage dealers, which is highly significant considering Elizabeth’s role. Additionally, the critical stars he generates means that the team can provide sufficient stars even without the use of star generation CEs.
Usage of this CE means that Elizabeth can fulfill the team’s critical star needs all on her own, allowing other Servants more freedom in choosing a CE (Piece of Year 2030 is currently unavailable on the US version).
Useful if one wants to spam her NP more often - against bosses, it is generally better to simply put on NP damage up CEs, but there are situations where multiple waves of lower HP opponents need to be cleared.

Innocent Monster EX
This skill heals Elizabeth, as well as generating some amount of critical stars every turn for 3 turns. As this main skill facilitating her role, this skill is especially important for Elizabeth, and should be leveled first.
Mana Burst (Pumpkin) A
Increases Caster Elizabeth’s Buster performance and applies burn to all enemy units for 10 turns. This skill is relatively important to Elizabeth’s performance as it is directly tied-in to her NP damage, though the burn damage, on its own, is insignificant.
Performance Continuation A
Applies Guts on herself for 5 turns, as well as granting 8 critical stars instantly. The cooldown for this skill is more important than the increase in the Guts effect’s HP, due to the 8 critical stars. Still, her other skills should take priority over this.

Elizabeth Caster’s QAAAB deck helps both Elizabeth herself as well as her allies in gaining NP. Naturally, she loses access to a Buster Brave chain, but again, due to her subpar effective attack, it means that this is not a significant loss.
