Helena is the new summer archer on the block, but sadly, she doesn’t exactly make the cut. Armed with bad base stats and even worse generation stats, she struggles to stay afloat despite her swim wear. Her skills are small changes from her previous ones, but they still manage to do a decent amount of impact on her viability. We get the usual NP gauge boosting skill paired with a bunch of critical stars which are always important on support servants. Her second skill increases her flat damage output, ensuring that some nice damage is dealt. This helps her overcome the wall which is her attack stat. It also drops the enemies NP gauge for good measure, ensuring your team stays alive and well. Lastly, we have a rather dull Arts boosting skill paired with debuff immunity. While a damage increase is welcome, the numbers just aren’t enough to push her to greatness.
Pros
Nice support skills to aid her team
Skill that ensures she does flat damage paired with arts buffs deal some solid damage.
Cons
Terrible arts gain due to her NP generation stats and hitcounts on her cards.
Low damage due to her base stats and low rank on her passive skills.
Can’t properly NP spam due to long cooldowns on her skills and bad gen stats.
Strategies & Tips
Couple Helena with a bunch of servants with arts filled decks who also carry nice support capability. She likes to be able to arts chain so as to make up for her bad arts gen and she also wants to spam her NP as much as possible. Her 2nd skill should be used during her brave chains with her 3rd skill supporting her NPs. Her 1st skill can be used for servants carrying a kaleidoscope for a turn 1 NP or whenever she needs an NP up in a pinch.
Noble Phantasm
Sanat Kumara Wheel is an Arts AOE NP which reduces the opponent’s debuff resistance and defense during overcharge which can be situationally helpful. However, despite being an Arts NP, it does not refund much of her gauge, worsening her struggle with NP gen. Though it serves as a very serviceable NP, it is let down by the lack of offensive buffs on Helena.
Tamamo is the perfect companion to Helena, solving all her problems single handedly. Tamamo can buff Helena’s art cards even further, adding to her damage buffs. Her NP can reduce Helena’s drastic cooldown times, making sure she can activate them more often, on top of bestowing her a nice chunk of her NP gauge. The arts cards in her deck help Helena chain her arts cards as well, leading to a much easier time using Helena.
Hans assists Helena by providing her a nice buff to her critical damage, making sure that she is putting out more damage and generating more NP gauge. This is supported by his critical star gen skills and NP. He offers further attack and defense buffs as well as some nice sustain on his NP, keeping Helena alive and hitting.
Waver is another solid choice to pair with, his skills giving large boosts to Helena’s NP gauge consistently. He provides her the crit buff to cover for her low ranking independent action, and a nice flat buff to the team’s attack. His mostly Arts card deck also synergizes well with Helena. His NP provides debuffs to the entire enemy team, making the cleanup on Helena’s side much easier to do.
Cute orangette manages to fix two of Helena’s major problems. Her NP gen and her damage output. Equipping this CE will ensure a much easier time filling up her NP gauge while also ensuring that she dishes out some nice damage.
This CE gives Helena that sorely needed damage boost to her arts cards, ensuring that she will have a much better damage output as well as passively increasing her NP gen. The crit stars per turn help her crit more often on her art cards and hopefully get her to fill her gauge more often as well.

Summer Vacation! A+
Summer vacation is an excellent skill, boasting NP gauge boosts as well as crit stars. This helps Helena out with her main purpose, NP spamming and critting on enemies. However this is held back by the tremendous cooldown time, stopping Helena from using this skill consistently. This skill should be leveled last.
Nyarfu! B
Nyarfu is Helena’s source of the most consistent damage. It gives her a flat amount of damage that ignores defense, with the only downside being that it lasts for 5 turns and hits, depending on which comes first. It also assists Helena in stalling out the enemy team, albeit just for 1 turn. This skill should be leveled first.
Colonel’s Summer Vacation B
This skill is Helena’s only source of Arts buff, but is sadly obstructed by its low stats. It has a decent cooldown time which means it can be spammed to a certain extent with careful planning. The self debuff immunity is very situational and only helpful in very niche situations. This skill should be leveled second.

Helena’s cards are in a bad place, not being able to arts chain with herself unless her NP is up can be detrimental to her NP gain. This is coupled with her terrible hitcount and bad generation stats, leading to her difficulty in gaining NP and carrying out her main purpose in the team.
