Lu Bu boasts one thing--- offense. Out of all the Berserkers ingame, Lu Bu has the highest NP damage, and is able to back it up with crits for even more damage. He also has the highest atk stats among the lowstar Zerks, giving him great value as an easily obtainable, purely offensive Berserker.

[NA]
Lu Bu gets an increase in NP damage after his upgrade, so his NP damage is lower in the NA server right now. However, among the current pool of available Berserkers, no one else does as much damage as Lu Bu currently does, which still makes him deal the highest NP damage among the Single-target Zerks in the NA Server.

• Highest ST NP among all Zerks ingame.

• High normal damage due to high atk stats and atk buff.

• Skill upgrade gives crit absorb, letting him back up his NP damage with crit damage.

• 3★ rarity gives easy access to his damage.

• Extremely low survivability makes it hard to maintain him.

• Standard Zerk NP gain makes it difficult to charge his NP quickly.

Lu Bu is a damage dealer through and through. His entire kit is made so that he can NP hard, and deal some crits on the side. His stats are also distributed so that he’s able to deal high damage, making him unmatched among the lowstar Berserkers. His weakness is having standard NP gain and low survivability. So, it’s best to pair him with a support that can aid his survival, and another to buff his damage.

When buffed by his own skills, Lu Bu deals the highest NP damage among all Zerks ingame. It also ignores defense, and has a 30-70% chance to stun the enemy. It’s best utilized with an NP Buster Brave chain, to maximize Lu Bu’s damage against an enemy.

Increase in Buster Performance
Lu Bu has a 27% atk up, 30% NP damage up, and 10% Buster up, so increasing his Buster up would scale his damage further on his NP and normal damage.

Increase in NP damage
If Lu Bu is paired with teammates who can boost his Buster up, it is better to boost his NP damage as it would add up and scale even higher than a Buster up CE.

• Valor B

  A good skill to boost Lu Bu’s damage. It maxes out at a 27% increase in atk and 36% resistance to mental debuffs. The resistance to mental debuffs are fairly useful, but the 27% atk up is the most important factor of the skill, as it multiplies with his Mad Enhancement A, and increases his atk to effectively 10k.

• Defiant B

  A decent survival skill to keep Lu Bu alive, although on its own it’s not enough. It’s best utilized when stacking with other def ups, to increase the overall %. The demerit is also rather tricky, so one must be careful in using his 1st and 3rd skills before using this skill, as it can make them miss.

• Chaotic Ruthless Hero A

  This skill multiplies with Lu Bu’s Mad Enhancement A and Valor B, which is what lets him deal so much damage on NP. It also has a crit absorb, which lets him deal good crit damage on NP brave chains, which increases the overall damage he deals. It unfortunately comes with a demerit, so one must use it cautiously when fighting.

A QABBB deck maximizes Lu Bu’s damage, as it lets him form Buster chains with his NP more frequently. While it does cripple his NP gain, the damage he is able to do in exchange for it is worth it.
