Hassan is a star generator support through and through. He’s made to provide stars for the team, and he does so while surviving independently. He’s the most survivable Assassin support ingame, so you can practically put him anywhere and he would generate stars as he dodges hits.
Pros
Most survivable Assassin ingame due to 3-hit dodge.
2nd highest stargen among the low rarity Servants in JP, 1st in NA.
Lacks reliance on an upgrade to perform well.
Useful instakill against Mobs.
Cons
Instakill is useless on Servants.
NP has only one hit, crippling his generation on NP.
Low damage due to Assassin multiplier.
Strategies & Tips
As a support, you can hardly go wrong with Hassan. He’s extremely splashy, though one would usually place him in teams that focus on crits. Because of his extreme survivability, one can easily put him together with a damager and a support, and lessen the load of sustain on the team. He allows for the support would focus on buffing and keeping the damager alive, all while he shoots out stars.
Carmilla relies on spamming her NP for damage and sustaining herself. As such, she relies on her regular hits to gain NP. Pairing her with Hassan lets both generate more stars, allowing Carmilla to crit charge and deal more damage overall.
Jack has the highest amount of stargen ingame, and is able to spam her high-damage NP because of it. Adding Hassan with her lets you generate more stars per turn without relying only on Jack’s cards, increasing her NP gain and stargen.
After his upgrade, Proto Cu becomes a survivable crit damager who also relies on a 3-hit dodge. Hassan is able to provide stars for Cu to crit with, while also surviving for long amounts of time in tandem with him.
Caesar is able to support Hassan’s damage, but his most important support skill for Hassan is his upgraded 3rd skill. Giving Hassan a 100% stargen up increases Hassan’s stargeneration by twofold, allowing the team to deal more damage overall. Hassan’s dodge also neutralizes the danger of its defense demerit.
Alexander is able to buff Hassan’s Quicks, which increases his damage, stargen, and NP gain. Hassan provides stars, while Alexander utilizes them for critcharging and NP.
Medusa is reliant on crit charging to properly spam her NP, so Hassan comes in handy when supporting her with stars. She is also able to buff her attacks, making her crits hit nicely.
n the same manner, Billy relies on stars to generate NP and to hit hard with his crits. Hassan is able to provide for Billy reliably without burdening the team.
Lobo is also a Quick-based critical damager, so his deck syncs well with Hassan’s in providing stars to crit with. He is also able to lower an enemy’s death resist, which can be handy in taking care of mobs with Hassan’s NP.
Jaguarman is able to provide for herself in crits with her 1st skill, however it has long CD time and she has no sure-hit star absorb. Hassan would help in increasing the stars generated to increase the amount of stars she could possibly get, while also being able to provide stars on demand with his 1st skill.
With his ability to survive for a long time, it is possible to put star-per-turn CEs on Hassan, which increases his overall stargen. It lets him generate stars passively, which stacks with his performance.
Hassan’s NP has an 80-120% chance to instakill that scales for overcharge. Being one of the highest instakill chances ingame, it’s extremely useful to clear 2nd wave mobs, particularly those with high HP like the Chimeras. However, instakill rarely works against Servants, and it doesn’t have particularly high damage, used to either clear mobs or make Quick chains. Using it to make Quick chains is rather useful due to Hassan’s good stargen, but due to it having only one hit, the NP itself leaves much to be desired.

Projectile (Dagger) B / Cooldown: 6-4 Gain critical stars
A great skill to have on a stargen support. Its short CD time at max increases Hassan’s overall stargen, and lets him help critstrikers by increasing their crit chances during burst phases.
Self-Modification C / Cooldown: 7-5 Increase Crit damage (3 turns)
As Hassan is a support, this skill isn’t as useful for his role compared to his 1sst and 3rd skills. However, it’s still a good skill to have, as it increases your potential damage per turn. As one would be generating a good amount of stars with Hassan, he himself would naturally share in those stars sometimes. By dealing crits, this skill lets him increase the overall damage you deal in case you have an abundance of stars in a turn.
Protection from Wind A / Cooldown: 7-5 Apply Evade (3 times) Increase Star Generation rate (3 turns)
Hassan’s core skill. This skill allows Hassan to survive for a long time. A 3-hit evade allows Hassan to have cover from attacks for an indefinite amount of time. Due to being based on hits, it is not unusual to have the dodge in effect even after the skill has recharged CD. This enables you to potentially loop it relentlessly, keeping Hassan untouched by damage. It also increases his stargen, which further aids his role as a support, stacking with his Presence Concealment to boost his stargen effectively by 50%.

A QQQAB deck is the best deck a star generator could have, and Hassan does well with it. He also has 3 hits on his Quick, making his stargen rather reliable.
