Paul Bunyan has a great skillset that boosts her damage output considerably, while being able to provide utility to the team by increase the party’s overall damage. Her Noble Phantasm has an extremely fast animation which makes her very appealing for use as a farmer, and hits fairly hard due to her buffs. With her NP and skills combined she can hit as hard as an SR Berserker, which makes her very formidable when it comes to offense. However, she has no reliable survival skills, making her rather high-maintenance when it comes to survival.
Good NP damage that provides a 5 turn DEF down.
Very short NP animation.
Can boost own Buster damage to the equivalent of an SR Zerk.
All her buffs and debuffs are AoE, providing very good utility.
Lacks a reliable survival skill.
Low HP stats.
Strategies & Tips
Despite having AoE buffs and debuffs, Paula is a damager. With her skills together she deals very good damage on NP, and is able to buff her Busters considerably, making her hit fairly hard despite her low ATK. Her skills provide great utility, as it can aid your party’s overall damage to speed up fights. Her DEF down skill can be combined with her NP for a larger effect, or usage could be alternated to always have a DEF down effect on the enemy.
Pairing taunters with Berserkers is a fairly common and effective strategy, and Paul does very well with them, as she can increase their overall damage and heal her supports.
Paul’s NP deals good damage with her buffs, and applies a 5 turn DEF down to the enemy party. It’s rather useful as a farming tool due to it’s quick animation, but as an offensive tool it also boosts Paul’s damage decently, stacking with her DEF down skill to boost the team’s damage by 30% at 100% overcharge.
Hans is able to support Paul by providing her with DEF buffs and healing, which aids her in her lack of survival. He is also able to provide ATK and Crit Damage up buffs to the party, which can be stacked with Paul’s own buffs and debuffs for more damage.
Zhuge Liang’s DEF ups provide a direct damage cut as a secondary effect, which can be very helpful in keeping Paul alive. He’s also able to charge her NP, and stack offensive buffs and debuffs with her, which gives her large room to wreak havoc.
Shakespeare is able to buff Paul’s Buster damage, which stacks very well with her other skills. He is also able to buff her stargen by 100% for a turn, which can be very useful with her hitcounts when used for a Brave chain.
D’eon is able to taunt for 3-turns, which lets her take damage to cover for Paul. While she’s not as stable as George when it comes to tanking, she is also able to debuff the enemy’s DEF and perform Buster chains with Paul, giving their team greater total damage.
George is a steady and stable tank due his self-sustaining skillset. He can easily provide her with 3 turns of safety, and even benefit from her heal. While it is normally seen as a demerit, his Rider crit weight, he would also benefit from Paula’s crit buff during the times he takes all the stars.
Leonidas is extremely tricky to use, and usually one would advise against using him over George when it comes to general taunting issues. However, it is also known that when the conditions are right, Leonidas can outperform the previous two taunters. He’s able to tank perpetually and cover for Paul, and he would also benefit from her heal greatly. He’s also able to provide a Buster buff for the party and a big amount of stars through his NP, which would benefit the team well with Paul’s buffs included.

Happy Companions A
A Buster up is always good to increase a Berserker’s damage, but as an AoE skill this becomes particularly useful in boosting the team’s overall damage. Among the supports one could pair with Paul, there are a number who have 2 Buster cards, after all. Not to mention that out of 3 of the existing taunters ingame have 2 Buster cards, which further increases the skill’s value. While wouldn’t really expect her to crit, the buff does aid crit damage for the entire team, whether if it’s a lucky crit from her, or from a support.
Bean Soup Lake A
A 2000HP heal at max is rather useful, but it isn’t really enough to be a reliable survival function for her. As such, Bunyan is still rather dependent on her allies in sustaining her. The real value of the skill is that it allows Bunyan to aid the entire team’s survivability, which would also affect hers, as she depends on her supports. For example, Servants who focus on DEF buffing like Mashu and Waver lack heals, so Bunyan can at the least mitigate that lack for an amount.
Popcorn Snowstorm B
A defense and healing debuff. A defense drop is almost universally useful, especially against bosses. She can also stack this debuff with the defense drop from her NP, which greatly increases the team’s potential damage. The healing decrease is pretty amazing with it’s 1 turn downtime and large percent, but in reality it’s a rather niche effect as we don’t encounter enemies who can heal for absurdly large amounts. Of course, its scaling and long duration makes up for that.
Reduces the defense of all enemies (3 turn) & decreases HP recovery amount (5 turn).

Mad Enhancement EX Increases damage of unit's Buster cards by 12%
With a QABBB deck, Paul suffers from slow NP gain like the rest of her peers. She has average base gain, but due to the number of hits on her Buster, she can sometimes charge for more when using them compared to other Zerks. While it doesn’t really go far, her hitcounts also help her produce stars, which can be of good use to her or to her team. The ability to Buster chain also helps her produce more damage, surpassing the limit of what one would expect from a 1*.
