Lancelot’s position is simple ‘The Crit Master’. He’s NP, being a quick-card NP already has high crit-star generation. On top of that, his skillsets are specialised in generating and utilising crit stars for his own. Having one of the highest attack stat in SR also adds to his merit.
After the strengthening quest (currently unavailable on the EN ver), Lancelot will gain a crit-damage buff with a strengthening, this skill will increase his NP gathering rate, but will not help in his poor NP gathering ability overall, but as a crit damage dealer goes, the crit-damage buff will affect his skill priority.
Pros
Excellent skillsets : His skills are simple, increase star absorption and increase star generation. The latter ensures his NP creates as much crit stars as possible which he then can collect using his first skill, making him a great choice for critical damage dealer.
Buster command card : Being the highest damage command, having 3 of the buster command card certainly works to Lancelot’s advantage. On top of that being able to buster brave chain increases Lancelot’s crit-enhanced damage even further.
Surprisingly flexible role : Being a berserker, having the second highest ATK stats in all SR servants, and an anti-army NP give Lancelot many uses, especially dealing with dungeons containing multiple enemies. Namely, the daily quests. But being a critical damage dealer, he can also act as powerful single damage dealer if you can collect him crit stars and make command chains.
Cons
Low survivability : Being a Berserker class servant is bad enough, but having no skills related to survivability, Lancelot is one of the quickest teammate to go if the party has not been organised to boost durability, thereby limiting who can go with Lancelot.
Low NP Gain : Lancelot’s NP gain is low, couple that with 3 buster command set, it is notably hard for Lancelot to fully charge his NP on his own, this limits the CE choice or team composition significantly, as one of the factor must be dedicated to making sure that Lancelot can use his NP. He will gain a NP gather increase with a strengthening quest, but it will not be enough for him to replace his CE choices.
Strategies & Tips
The key to using Lancelot to his full potential is making use of his NP and Eternal Arms Mastership. NP generates star he can use and the Eternal Arms Mastership (the First Skill) guarantees that the generated stars are mainly distributed to Lancelot. Do note that due to random star distribution factor, even if you managed to generate just about 30 star, and Lancelot had used the first skill, it will not guarantee you the full star distribution to Lancelot. Therefore it is useful that 2 skill to be equally trained to ensure highest crit star generation as possible.
Being a critical support, Hans skillsets and NP works well with Lancelot, his NP can increase both attack and defence and even provide heal if lucky. But NP aside, Anderson also has crit-damage boost, and star-gen per turn. Which gives Anderson ability to aid Lancelot in every way (except for NP gain).
Atalanta’s Crossing Arcadia can boost Lancelot’s somewhat lacking NP damage, and at the same time she can earn large amount of star like Lancelot using her NP, which should complement Lancelot as a crit-damage dealer.
Mash’s first skill can boost Lancelot’s survivability to certain extent, but her second skill provides Lancelot a significant increase in NP charge, while at the same time guarantees his survival by providing Lancelot with an invincibility.
Zhuge Liang’s ability to charge other NP assures Lancelot NP use. Also Zhuge Liang’s first skill, Discerning Eyes boost Lancelot’s crit damage, at the same time providing Lancelot much-needed survivability by providing defend buff using his second skill.
Perhaps the best for Lancelot since it gives the maximum starting NP (80%, 100% when fully limit-broken) possible, which will give Lancelot a good chance to build his NP to maximum without dying from enemy attacks. Another advantages Kaleidoscope has it that this one’s stat increase is fully dedicated to attack stat, unlike most other NP-related CEs, who increases both HP and ATK.
Second to Kaleidoscope since it gives 60% NP charge when battle starts (75% when full limit-broken). An advantage INM has over Kaleidoscope is that this one’s SR CE, which mean it is more likely to show up than SSR Kaleidoscope.
Ley Line needs to be fully limit-broken to be at least viable for Lancelot. Since non limit-broken Ley Line only charges 30%, whereas fully limit-broken Ley Line gives 50% NP charge.
Or Verdant Sound of Destruction. CEs both dedicated to ATK stats and increasing Buster command card effect. If you forgo using Lancelot’s NP, Lancelot’s command Cards will benefit greatly from these CEs since he has 3 buster cards.
Deals damage to all enemies. [Overcharge]Increases own attack for 3 turns. [This effect activates first.]

Upgrade Priority
1>2 Lancelot’s skill upgrade priority depends on the team composition. If your team has a composition that assures steady distribution of crit stars, skill 1 (or Eternal Arms Mastership) is the top priority to maximise Lancelot’s damage output.
2>1 However, if you want to utilise Lancelot on more general situation, prioritising skill 2 is advised, to generate as much crit stars as possible, which then can be used either by Lancelot or attacker of your choice.
3>1>2 After strengthening quest, Lancelot will gain a third skill call Reverse Flow of Mana, this will buff his crit damage and increase his NP gather rate. Though latter part of the new skill is negligible, crit damage buff alone will make maxing the third skill priority, since it will maximise Lancelot’s damage output.

There are two ways to look Lancelot’s command card. One can say he has poor command card distribution since you cannot make a NP command brave chain, since he has only one quick card.
However as a critical dealer stands, Lancelot’s command card is well-suited for his role, since having 3 buster cards means he can reap high damage output using crit-enhanced buster brave chain.
