With one of the best final servant arts in the game, Kato Danzo does not just have killer looks but also a deadly kit that can literally blow her enemies away. She is also an all-rounded assassin who can generate stars, deal loads of damage and support her team with buffs while being no slouch on defense.
Danzo is great for those running a Crit-Buster team as her strength is in generating stars with her insane Crit star generation while dishing damage with her Buster NP and cards. Her skillset also supports this as she features a solid Buster and Quick performance buff which boost her damage and star generation. She also boast some great defensive assets, sporting an Invincibility and Evade skill that can be applied on allies while also boosting their Crit star rates drop too.
Other than the above mentioned, everything else about her is not so pretty. Her base HP and Attack stats are slightly below average for a 4* Assassin but the story gets worse for her as she sacrifices Crit star gen for NP gen. Danzo’s NP generation is just as good as our mascot Artoria (Saber), the only difference being that Danzo only holds one Arts card which doesn’t help with her NP problem.
Kato Danzo is not especially great at generating stars consistently and dealing damage reliably on a Crit-Buster team however, she makes a great second option for either one of those purposes. With that being said, it is great to party her up with servants who are more specialised at the roles of dealing damage like Minamoto No Yorimitsu and generating stars like with Jack the Ripper.
Don Gyu is a AOE Buster type NP which deals damage to all enemies, it has a secondary effect of dealing extra damage to Demon enemies. Demon enemies includes Demon Boar, Demon gods like the ones found in the Solomon singularity and many more.

 Jack the Ripper | The catalyst for most Crit teams, Jack the Ripper is a observe pairing, considering they both have heavy Quick decks and unworldly good Crit star generation. Not only that but she could benefit from the secondary effect of Danzo’s second and third skill, although you won’t be using it much on Jack as she got her own Evade skill meaning that one of the two skills could be used on the third servant in the party. |
 Yorimitsu | Minamoto is a great pairing because with her third skill, almost all the stars Danzo can generate will go to her, not only that but she can deliver an absurd amount of damage to enemies with her Buster heavy deck and disgusting Crits. |
 Merlin | A support option cannot be left of this list, especially the top ranking servant. Not only does he sustain her with his healing NP, he also possess a skill which grants invincibility to the whole team which lightens the defensive workload of Danzo. Merlin third skills holds one of the best Buster buff in the game which Danzo can only utilise with her Buster NP. |
 Shakespeare | The famous writer in on this list simply for the fact that he is a budget option that synergises well with Danzo. He can buff her Buster damage even more with his first skill, accompanied that with his third skill which can not only give her a Free NP at max level but also increases her Critical star generation. |

 Wolves of Mibu | This CE should come as no surprise as her kit is heavy on both type of cards that gets buffed by this CE. Wolves of Mibu is farmable during the Gudaguda event, easy to limit break and is extremely useful as it gives her and her team more reliable and consistent crits. |
 Seaside Luxury | Seaside luxury is useful if you intend to use her as your crit generator of choice, not only does it buff her Crit star generation but it also gives 3 stars per turn, making crits more consistent. Just like Wolves of Mibu, it is easily farmable in the 2016 summer event. |
 Volumen Hydrargyrum | Although Danzo isn’t a tank, this CE is great considering that one of her strong points is in her second and third skill which features both evade and Invincibility. It would be great if both of those skills are applied to allies thus this skill is great for those bosses with low cooldown on their heavy hits which makes this CE invaluable as it can block out a few hits before needing your skills. |

Even though Artificial Limbs is a solid way to improve her offensive capabilities, the defensive prowess her two other skill offers is just too good not to upgrade before considering every servant can use more hard sustain. However, you may want to consider upgrading her first skill first if you are running a Crit-Buster team as it will help in her role on the team, which is crucial for both generating stars and dealing damage.
This skill is great considering a lot of the card performance boosting skill offers the same buff but only to one specific card. It’s also compliments her deck which is heavy on Quick and Buster cards which enables her to deal more damage and generate more stars.
This skill is useful for anyone that danzo is paired with, Crit-Buster team are usually not very strong on defense and every team could use more ways to dodge heavy hits as well making this skill very useful.
This skill also offers Danzo and her team yet another form of hard sustain, it is also great for the secondary effect it offers. No matter how you look at it, this skill is great and is very useful for any team.

Danzo’s kit is well suited to her deck, she has two Buster cards which means she can get a Buster Brave chain, combine that with her first skill and you are dealing massive damage on all your foes. Her two Quick cards are excellent as they have high Hit-Counts which will lead to a lot of stars alongside her insane Crit star generation stat.
