If you are looking for a servant that can destroy everything in its path without requiring any specific setup and don’t like Berserkers, then Iskandar is the way to go. Specializes in buffing up his attack and damage with his skills, Iskandar is a force to be reckon on the battlefield provided that you don’t get bored with his simple gameplay.
Pros
All skills are damage buffs. Even though Iskandar does not have any defensive skills, his skillset revolves around increasing attack and damage that not only applies to himself but his allies also, living up to his title as the King of Conquerors.
Generates lots of critical stars with NP. As Iskandar’s third skill, Lightning Conqueror increases his Buster card damage and star generation rate for a turn, it is best to use it together with his NP especially if you managed to pull off a Buster Brave Chain. As his NP deals multiple hits AOE damage and coupled with his Extra card that deals six hits, it is estimated that he can generate up to 20+ stars without any support from CE and party members, which is a huge number for a Buster focused servant.
Cons
Doesn’t provide much utility to the party. Beyond his high damage output and attack buff for the party, Iskandar doesn’t really have anything else to offer except destroying things like a Berserker. His low NP gain and hit counts on his Arts cards deters him from charging up his NP gauge fast enough and had to depend on his allies to build up his NP. Besides that, he also doesn’t really have any reliable means of generating critical stars outside of using his NP which makes the effect on his third skill a bit wasted.
Strategies & Tips
Iskandar is a high damage attacker focusing on stacking up his damage with his buffs and demolishes his enemies with NP. He works well in a NP focus party composition as his second skill MIlitary Tactics also increases his party member’s NP damage. However, Iskandar by himself will have a hard time building up his NP gauge so he will require support from his allies or by equipping a Kaleidoscope CE.
Noble Phantasm
Iskandar’s Noble Phantasm, Ionioi Hetairoi is a Buster type NP that deals damage to every enemies on the battlefield up to eight hits while decreasing their defense for three turns. After Interlude it also decreases their critical chance rate by 10% for three turns but is hard for the effect to be noticed.
Provides Iskandar with damage increasing buff along with NP charges, which makes up for his low NP acquisition rate. Besides that, chaining his NP together with Iskandar’s also increases the latter’s NP damage.
Almost the same usage as Waver but comes with a much higher damage boost for iskandar as he is compatible with Merlin’s Hero Creation skill by having a Buster type NP. Unavailable on the EN ver.
Able to increase Buster cards performance just like Merlin while also being able to deal a huge amount of damage by herself. Unavailable on the EN ver.
As Iskandar himself has a low NP gain, by equipping this CE enables him to use his NP much faster which allows for effective farming during events as his NP deals a huge AOE damage.
Provides a lower amount of NP charge compared to Kaleidoscope at the start of the battle but also increases Iskandar’s NP damage, which if paired together with Waver, Iskandar is still able to use his NP on the first turn with Waver’s skills. Unavailable on the EN ver.

Upgrade Priority
As all of Iskandar’s skills have the effect of increasing his damage output, we would like to prioritize the skill that increases his damage by the most which in this case is his third skill that increases his Buster cards performance up to 50% at max level. Next, we turn our attention to his first skill which is a classic attack buff for the whole party and leave his second skill for the last as the increase in NP damage only lasts for a turn, meaning that you would have to chain your NPs together to maximize its effect.

Iskandar’s command cards performance are pretty average without much strong points but he does have an Extra attack that deals six hits to accumulate quite a bit of critical stars and NP charge.
