The Phantom of the Opera is currently the only Assassin equipped with an AoE Noble Phantasm. Being an Assassin, he has a decent star generation rate, though his low Quick hitcount severely limits his potential. His first skill, Innocent Monster, also assists him in generating stars. True to his story, Phantom possesses a Charm skill; unfortunately, while the chance percentage is rather high, he can only use it against females.
However, Phantom has absolutely no damage increasing skill, which cripples him both due to Assassins’ innate 0.9x damage modifier and the fact that his ATK stat is low to begin with, being the third lowest among 2-star Servants. While his Noble Phantasm’s secondary effect as well as his third skill are focused on mental debuff chance, the only debuff he has is his Charm. All these makes it so that Phantom has no real role other than to charm female opponents and to assist with a team’s star generation.
Pros
Area-of-Effect NPs are rare among Assassins, who usually specialize in killing a single target.
Decent star generation with a 3 Quick deck.
High charm chance against females thanks to his set.
Cons
His niche is rather useless, something that is even more stinging since he uses two skill slots and the Noble Phantasm secondary effect to support this niche.
Low ATK, compared with Assassins’ base 0.9x modifier, cripples his damage output.
Strategies & Tips
Phantom of the Opera is generally only used as a filler Assassin - such as when you don’t have enough cost for a high rarity one, and you have no access to Sanson. In battle, his Quick cards along with Innocent Monster can help the team generate stars, and his Charm may find use in certain situations.
Noble Phantasm
“Christine, Christine” is an Arts-type AoE Noble Phantasm, with a standard AoE modifier and a secondary effect which decreases opponents’ debuff resistance - a generally useless effect. Additionally, due to his low ATK, this Noble Phantasm’s damage is rather horrendous.
As Archers have a naturally high star absorption rate, Gilgamesh is able to make the most of Phantom’s generated stars. Phantom’s Charm also functions as a pseudo-defensive option, which somewhat makes up for the King of Heroes’ lack of defensive skill.
Hans’ Innocent Monster helps Phantom produce a good amount of stars to be used by the main damager. Hans’ buffs and healing also cover other supporting aspects that Phantom doesn’t have, and makes up for the defense down from Phantom’s own Innocent Monster.

This skill generates a set amount of stars per turn, at the cost of lowered defense. The amount of stars given is decent on higher skill levels, which more than makes up for the defense debuff. Level this skill after Alluring Nightingale.
Alluring Nightingale B
The Phantom’s main tool is this Charm skill, which gives a rather high chance to apply the Charm debuff to a female opponent. This skill should be leveled up first, to make it more reliable.
Mental Pollution A
A skill that increases the Phantom’s chances to apply his Charm, while hindering similar moves from the opponent. It is generally a rather useless skill, and as such should be leveled last.
