Kintoki is perhaps one of the most powerful SRs ingame. Kintoki boasts the highest NP damage among the Riders ingame due to his NP5 status, and his ridiculous buffs. He also has high base NP gain and great hitcounts, which means he can charge his NP incredibly fast. Indeed, it is not an exaggeration to call him one of the best Quick damagers ingame--- he is able to deal high NP damage, generate stars, and spam his NP even through using just his Quicks.
Pros
Ranks as the highest among Riders in ST NP damage
High base gain with good hitcounts + NP charge skill allows him to use his NP frequently
NP’s secondary effect has fast scaling compared to most NPs
Cons
Lacks a hard defensive skill
Damage is focused on NP, which can leave some loss on DPT
Strategies & Tips
Kintoki, or Kinrider as most would call him, is one of the best Quick damagers ingame. His NP gives high damage, and his kit allows him to use it often by using his cards or skills. In general, Kinrider does best by doing an NPQA or NPQQ to deal damage and recharge his gauge. This allows him to generate stars and get ready for his next burst. With crits involved, he can usually recharge his gauge immediately, but if his NP doesn’t recharge enough, one can use his NP charge skill to make up for the gap.
Although, even if KinRider does this excellently, one must be careful in labeling him as a top-tier damager, even among the Riders. While he does dish out a considerable amount of damage, the focus of his kit on NP can mean a lack of DPT. The game also favors one time nukes for most of its content, and while Kin can do that perfectly fine, there are many times where NP damage isn’t enough.
Not to mention that among the SSRs there are also Riders who deal considerable amounts of damage like Ozymandias and Quetzalcoatl, who are both powered by the Meta as well.
In other words, one must not think that KinRider is automatically the best damager among the Riders, as there are others who can compete with him with DPT and crits. That said, he is indeed powerful, and functions best in a team that can provide him buffs that multiply with his Quick up, and with supports that can encourage his frequent NP usage by providing either Arts first card bonuses, by charging his NP directly, or by providing him with stars.
Noble Phantasm
Golden Drive: Good Night is pretty straightforward. It buffs Kintoki’s Quick card for a turn before hitting, which can stack with his own skill to boost his damage. Its calculated damage deals about 55k against neutral enemies. The Quick up also scales quickly with overcharging, going from 10% to 30% on 200%.
Hans is able to increase Kintoki’s survivability through heal and DEF up, and is able to boost his damage through his ATK up buff. He can also buff his crit damage and produce stars for him, which can improve Kintoki’s overall damage as he charges through crits.
Waver is able to directly charge Kintoki’s gauge, which can come in handy if he is unable to charge his NP to full after using it. He can also provide a very high scaling ATK up with his NP’s DEF down and 3rd skill, which multiplies exceptionally with Kinrider’s Quick up.
Caesar is able to provide 2 additional buffs for Kinrider, which multiplies with his Quick up well. His 3rd skill can also be beneficial for him, as it can boost his damage on crits and improve his star generation.
Zetian’s skills allow her to buff Kintoki’s Quicks and ATK, which of course improves his overall NP gain and damage. She can also form Quick chains with him to generate stars, which he can absorb for crit-charging.
Considering how much Kintoki can use his NP, a CE that boosts NP damage would multiply with Kintoki’s own Quick up buffs, thus improving his overall damage.

Thousand Mile Rush A / Cooldown: 7-5
Increase own Quick Performance (3 turns) Increase own Star Generation (3 turns)
As a buff that boosts both his damage, NP gain, and star generation, this is perhaps Kintoki’s most important skill for his gameplay. It allows him to generate a good amount of stars on his Quick brave chains, which he can use to crit charge his NP again. It also boosts his already great base NP gain on his Quicks, allowing him to charge incredibly fast.
Animal Communication C / Cooldown: 8-6
Charges own NP gauge
A simple NP fill skill, which can be rather useful when using him for farming or to recharge his NP if one cannot fill it to 100% in time. It can also be used to overcharge his NP to 200%, for a stronger buff.
Natural Body A / Cooldown: 7-5
Increase ATK Debuff Resistance (3 turns) Greatly restore Health
A decent survival skill. While the ATK debuff resistance isn’t that useful overall, it’s a nice bonus along with the great heal.

A QQABB deck is honestly a misfit for Kintoki’s role, as he would be better off with a QQAAB deck to increase his overall potential in spamming his NP. However, with his ability to generate stars in mind, it can be said that having 2 Busters on his deck allows him to deal some DPT or give out more damage on his burst phase.
