Lancer Kiyohime is a pretty straightforward damage dealer, with good buffs at her beck, and some utility besides. Combined with a decent ATK stat and high Mad Enhancement rank, she is a solid pick for a damage dealer Lancer. Her critical down skill and her NP’s skill seal grants her some extent of flexibility - though both are somewhat situational. In exchange, she has no dependable survivability function, meaning that she has to rely on her allies for support. Additionally, while her base NP gain is decent, she has no NP gain aid skill either, which somewhat hurts her reliability. Additionally, her third skill’s attack up makes it somewhat tricky to use against harder-hitting bosses.
Pros
Good damage, both burst and sustained
Critical chance down is an important asset for harder battles
Skill seal is highly useful against opponents who spam annoying skills, such as Evasion
Low cooldown on skills
Cons
No survival function
Third skill has demerit
Mediocre NP gain
Strategies & Tips
Kiyohime should be used as a main damage dealer, along with supporting allies - preferably those possessing NP-charging skills. Kiyohime is able to greatly increase her own damage for 3 turns - a 60% coverage at maxed skill levels. As such, she benefits a lot from compositions able to maximize this benefit, (e.g. critical-based compositions).
Noble Phantasm
Doujouji Kane, Hyaku-Hachi Shiki : Ka-Ryuu Nagi is a Buster-type damage-dealing single-target Noble Phantasm, which applies a skill seal and burn on the target enemy. Being mostly used for the damage, its secondary effects should be looked at as bonuses of sorts. It is best used as a starter to her Brave chains - preferably containing at least one other Buster card.
Due to her lack of NP gain skill, Kiyohime benefits greatly from Waver’s 50% charge. Aside from the attack buff, his defense up skill also allows her to survive longer, and the critical buff may be useful occassionally.
Both Kiyohime and Elizabeth are capable of stacking multiple buffs, all of which last for three turns. When combined, this translates to a much higher damage output for their skills’ duration - even more prominent thanks to Elizabeth’s additional attack up for female allies. As both of them are Lancers, they are best used in Archer-exclusive stages.
Aids Kiyohime’s NP gain and damage, while also providing survivability in the form of heals and his party-wide Invulnerability. Merlin’s ability to generate stars via his NP also adds to Kiyohime’s critical hit reliability.
Increasing both her Buster and critical damage, this CE is Kiyohime’s best choice if she is put in a party capable of generating critical stars - though notably, her lack of critical absorption may make her criticals somewhat unreliable.
Increases her Buster cards’ damage, these CEs are generally best used for longer fights, and also works well for critical-oriented teams. Her 6-hit on Buster cards also means that her star generation benefits quite a bit from these CEs.

Priority: 2 / 3 / 1
Scorching Summer of Passion A
Reduces all enemies’ critical chance for three turns. While a nice utility skill to have, her other skills directly contribute towards her role; as such, this skill has less priority compared to them.
Bath Water Turnover A
Increases Kiyohime’s Buster performance for three turns. While the percentage may seem somewhat small at first glance, her high Mad Enhancement rank makes up for it. Her most reliable skill, this skill should be leveled first.
Pursuer of Love A
Decreases an opponent’s defense for three turns. This skill has percentage equal to her second skill; however, it also grants said opponent an attack up, making this skill trickier to use, especially at lower skill levels.

Kiyohime’s QQABB deck allows her to create Quick chains somewhat easily in the right team, while still providing her with enough Buster cards to deal damage. However, her Quick cards’ hitcount of 2 makes her Quick performance mediocre, which, in turn, means that the deck is somewhat of a disadvantage, especially as it would be harder for her to create Arts chains.
