[JP] Teach’s strength is his nature as an all-rounder. He is able to support, survive, and attack fairly well and is compatible with a lot of Servants.
[NA] Teach’s 3rd skill boosts his support capabilities, and since it’s currently not in the NA server, this limits his full performance to an extent. His attack and survival capabilities are still mostly intact, however.
Pros
AoE NP damage up and attack up skill boosts NPs considerably.
Unlimited Time Guts lets him survive decently.
AoE Heal that doubles on Females.
Cons
NP’s secondary effects are too weak.
Strategies & Tips
Teach is an all-rounder, making him fit fairly well with almost anyone while complementing each other. If as a damage dealer, one would pair him with supports who can boost his damage, and use his skills to boost his NP brave chains. If as a support, one would put him with damagers who have Card up buffs, and with females.
Best Servants to Work with
Most Females Quetzalcoatl, Medusa, Ushiwakamaru, Jeanne D’arc Alter, Medea, Euryale, Jing Ke, Atalanta, Kiyohime, Okita Souji, Scathach, Jack the Ripper, Mordred, Arturia Pendragon, Brynhildr, Anne and Mary, etc. Teach does well with most females. You can hardly go wrong with an atk up + np up to boost damage, and females benefit well from the heal. Those with card buffs in particular do very well with his 1st skill.
Hans provides Arts cards to increase chances for Arts chains, aiding Teach’s NP gain. Hans is also able to stack Atk and Def buffs, while also being able to heal, aiding Teach’s survival and damage.
Drake fits well with Teach in that they are able to stack their Voyager skills, leading to an overall 1.76 increase in NP damage. Other than the fact that Drake benefits from Teach’s heal, their decks also synergize well.
Post-upgrade Mashu is able to buff Teach’s atk and defense, making his survival and offense even more solid. Mashu also benefits from his heal greatly.
Teach’s 1st and 2nd skills add up to 43% attack up, so one would be able to boost his NP damage if one also adds more to his NP damage up through a CE. CEs that mix Buster and NP damage effects also work
Teach’s Bond CE is one of the most useful ingame, as it boosts his own Busters and boosts the Busters of the party. With his first skill, Teach would be able to boost allies’ Buster NP damage by 50%.

Teach’s NP is average at best. It deals decent damage thanks to NP5 and his buffs, but its secondary effects, 30-70% chance to drain NP gauge and gain 5 stars, are less than favorable. For one, who would need 5 stars? The chance is too low to be reliable, so Teach’s NP is used more as an offensive measure rather than utility.

Upgrade Priority
Voyager of the Storm A / Cooldown: 7-5 Increase all allies’ NP damage (1 turn) Increase all allies’ Atk (1 turn)
An AoE burst skill to boost NP damage in general. Having 2 different buffs means that they would multiply, so Teach provides a decent boost to allies’ damage and to himself. It scales to an overall 34% increase in NP damage.
The most important skill for Teach’s offense and survival, it boosts his attack by 27% at max, making him hit pretty well despite his low stats. It also gives him unlimited time guts, which lets him survive well for a long time. As it has a 5 turn CD at max, the CD can become pretty abusable, and you can end up having Teach revive for numerous times without worry.
Loving Gentleman C / Cooldown: 8-6 [Strengthening Upgrade] Restore HP of all allies Restore HP of all Female allies
A great heal skill on Teach’s kit. It maxes at an AoE 2000HP heal, and doubles to a 4000HP if the ally is a female. Since we have considerably a lot of female allies ingame, this lets Teach be flexible in teams. With female allies, one could lessen the need for healing by sharing the burden of sustain with Teach, and focus instead on receiving less damage.
Skill Priority: Teach’s skills are all useful for different purposes, so they are all interchangeable for priority. 2/1/3 if Teach as a damage dealer 1/3/2 or 3/1/2 if Teach as a support

Teach comes with a QAABB deck, which is perfect for his role and rarity. Having 2 Arts aids his NP gain and increases the chance of Arts chains, to charge the party’s NP. This makes him splashy, which lets you use his support skills without too much worry for bad deck mixing. He also has 2 Busters, which boosts his overall damage despite his stats.
