Mordred (Rider), the one swimsuit servant that everyone that watches Fate/Apocrypha series would love to have in their arsenal is not only beautifully tan and blonde but is also a powerful servant. On offense her kit allows for her to be able crit reliably while being able to refresh her NP gauge very often. However, she doesn’t give up anything on defense as she is able to tank a few hits by herself. Living up to expectations as the self-proclaimed heir to the throne of The King of Knights.
Her base stats are nothing to boast about, her HP and ATK stats are very average for a 4* servant of her class. Her NP generation and critical star generation are pretty bad plus the average hit counts on both her arts (2) and quick (3) cards doesn’t help much. Her star absorb is her only thing that stands out but having a high crit star absorb is pretty normal on servants of the rider class.
Mordred (Rider) makes up for her average numbers with both her active and passive skills. Her first and second active skill compensate for her passable at best NP and crit star generation as her first skill boosts the performance of her arts cards by 30% for 3 turns at max level while her other second skill not only provide an evade for a turn but also helps her star generation by 50% at max level. Her passive skill “Surfing A” also improves her shortcomings by 5%, making her a useful servant in certain situations.
Pros
Crit reliably.
NP can be spammed.
NP can decrease enemy NP gauge.
Cons
NP and crit star gen is weak (without skills).
Long skill cooldowns.
Strategies & Tips
Mordred is good to have on an arts stall team or a crit arts team. In both of these teams, we will be utilising her reliable NP refreshes when she uses her first active skill and her NPAA chain, thus getting her NP up is a priority on any of these teams.
For an arts stall team she is good when paired with a good support that fills up her NP gauge quickly while also providing her some form of sustain when her skills are on cooldown.
For a crit arts team, with a good crit star generator system, mordred good star absorption will allow for her to crit very reliably and thus will be able to fill up her gauge more often, allowing for her to refresh her Noble phantasm more often as well.
Noble phantasm
Mordred (Rider) NP is an AOE arts card which does damage to all enemy on the field while also having a chance to reduce all enemy NP gauge. Mordred riding the huge waves on a surfboard is also a sight to behold.
Not only is she able to help Mordred (Rider) sustain, fills up her gauge, reduce an enemy NP but also boost her arts cards performance, yet another great choice when using her for an arts stall team.
Jack is the Go To when creating a crit team, thus we cannot leave her of this list as she can generate a disgusting amount of crit stars for Mordred to absorb.
He is undoubtedly THE support to help Mordred (Rider) as he allows for her to fill her NP gauge but also to stall the enemy team with his very own NP, excellent choice for an arts stall team with her.
This is strongly recommended as this helps fill up her NP faster be it whether she is attacking or being attacked, plus you have a chance of getting divine banquet from any gacha.
This CE is particularly useful when using a crit arts team as it not only increases the damage on the crits but improve the performance of Mordred arts card.
When equipped to Mordred (Rider) only, increase NP Strength for all allies by 20% while on the field.

Mordred (Rider) relies on her skills to make up for her shortcomings thus this combination allows us to fully utilize her to fit a team that she would best benefit from.
Cerulean Ride A
This is essential for her on any arts team as without this, we maxed this out to not only get better performance out of the arts cards but we also need its low cooldown to make it spammable.
Rodeo Flip A+
She isn’t a good crit star generator and if we wanted to max a skill for defensive purposes, guts would be better as at a later stage in the game bosses will be able to bypass evade.
Perpetual Summer B
Luck plays a huge factor in whether or not we can get the arts cards we will need to fill her gauge, hence when luck is not on our side at times, this skill can give an extra boost to get her NP or grant us the overcharge while also improving her survivability.
