Medusa Lancer’s main feature is the high-chance stun built-in to her Noble Phantasm. Coupled with her first skill’s Charm, it enables her to stall male opponents reliably. As her NP is single-target and Quick-type, it allows her to deal an acceptable amount of damage when coupled with her Monstrous Strength skill - though it is nowhere near exceptional due to her Monstrous Strength’s low percentage and low-ish ATK stat. Medusa Lancer also has some defensive capabilities to an extent, through her 3rd skills’ Invincibility and Guts buffs. Her NP upgrade further increases her NP damage, and it now inflicts a Quick resistance debuff on the target, which can help the team to an extent. Medusa Lancer’s primary flaw, however, is that she lacks any clearly defined role. Though she has her stun, being NP-locked means that she is unable to spam it enough for it to be significant. Additionally, most of her skills lack synergy with each other (and with her NP), which is made even worse by the long cooldowns on her first and third skills. All of these mean that she would be a rather undesirable alternative in most situations.
Pros

Possess survival skills
Acceptable NP damage
Decent critical star gain
Cons
Skillset lacks synergy
Long skill cooldowns
First skill is somewhat situational
Subpar skill effects
Somewhat low ATK stat
Strategies & Tips
Medusa Lancer should be used in stages filled with male Archers, in order to make the most of her 1st skill’s charm. Due to stun’s high chance and her average NP gain, her Noble Phantasm should be kept for crucial turns, where the stun would be most useful. Additionally, due to her skillset, she is unable to provide enough damage on her own, meaning that she’d most likely be used as a secondary damage dealer.
Noble Phantasm
Caress of the Medusa is a Quick-type, single-target damaging Noble Phantasm. It also has a high chance to apply Stun, which is 80% at 100% Overcharge. While it is able to deal a decent amount of damage, it can only be unleashed every so often, meaning that it is generally better to save it for certain turns. Thanks to its high hitcount, this NP is able to generate a decent amount of critical stars. After the NP’s upgrade, its damage becomes rather high, and it also weakens the target against quick cards for 3 turns.
Zhuge’s NP gain aid helps Medusa in performing her NP, and his NP’s stun go well with hers. Additionally, his buffs are all beneficial to the team, thanks to Medusa’s quick-oriented deck. Still, the lack of sustainability may be somewhat of a problem for harder stages.
Servants with Quick buff (Wu Zetian, Altria Pendragon [Alter Summer], Atalanta) Quick performance buffs increase Medusa’s damage, as well as NP gain and critical star generation. It is even more preferred if the chosen Servant is able to serve as a primary damage dealer, or is otherwise able to make use of the critical stars.
Servants with Anti-Male Charms (Stheno, Euryale) Pairing Medusa with these Servants will highly increase the significance of their charms and stun, greatly hindering male enemies. However, such opportunities may be somewhat rare, as it only works against single-boss stages, and the boss has to be male.
NP Damage Up (Heaven’s Feel, Black Grail) These CEs add to the effectiveness of Medusa’s NP damage, meaning that the team can focus more on charging her NP.
Quick Performance Up (Imaginary Around, Gandr, Dangerous Beast) These enhance Medusa’s Quick cards’ damage, NP gain, and critical star generation. Best used in critical-oriented teams, thanks to her decent critical star generation rate.
NP Charge (Prisma Cosmos, Afternoon Party) This type of CE allows Medusa to unleash her Noble Phantasm more reliably, meaning that she can perform her stun more often. Best used if Medusa Lancer is used as a secondary damage dealer.

Alluring Nightingale B Grants a chance to charm an enemy of the opposite for one turn. While situational, this skill may be very useful under the right conditions - however, even then it is hurt by its long cooldown. As such, this skill should be leveled last, if any.
Monstrous Strength C Increases her attack for one turn. Though possessing subpar percentage for such a skill, it is still her most reliable one, meaning that it should have leveling priority.
Affection Towards the Beyond A Grants Medusa a 1-hit Invincibility buff, as well as a one-time Guts buff which lasts for three turns. As only the amount recovered by the Guts scales with skill level, this skill should be leveled second to help the cooldown somewhat.
