[JP] Robin Hood’s defining trait is his NP. His entire kit is devoted to the usage of his NP, and his damage potential is one of the highest ingame. With the rarity of a 3*, it makes him an easily accessible damager with versatility in teamplay, while also costing little.
[NA] As Robin Hood’s performance isn’t as dependent on his Strengthening Quest, his lack of an upgrade early on doesn’t hinder his forte as much as it does on say, Gilgamesh.
Pros
3★ rarity allows for easy NP5, giving easy access to his damage.
Lack of dependence on an upgrade makes him relevant from the beginning (NA) to present (JP).
His NP hits hard independent of common buffs due to it being a supereffective, making his NP scale high with external buffs, regardless of the type.
Being an Arts damager makes him stable and reliable regardless of the meta.
Has the highest ST NP damage for Archers.
Cons
He exchanges his attack for higher HP, making normal attacks weaker.
Survival skill is based on his upgrade.
Strategies & Tips
Robin Hood acts as a main damage dealer, so it is logical to build a team around him to augment his performance. He works best in Arts teams since they can encourage more damage through frequent NP usage, so a team that has defense but still encourages high damage buffing is ideal. High NP damage for Robin can be encouraged through different types of buffs, while stacking his sabotage with defense ups and atk downs to increase survival.
Noble Phantasm
Robin’s NP is an ST NP that deals more when the enemy is poisoned. It is the highest damaging ST NP for the Archers in both the NA and JP Server, and due to it being Arts, it can easily be backed up by an NPQQ or NPAA to recharge Robin’s NP again, giving him potential to use his NP in short intervals.
Hans provides Arts cards to increase chances for Arts chains, letting Robin Hood charge his NP faster. He is also able to passively produce stars for Robin to crit with, and is also able to buff his survivability and damage with his healing and buffs.
Provides offensive and defensive buffs through his skills and NP, as well as charging the party’s NP gauge. Zhuge Liang would be able to charge Robin’s NP instantly, and provide a high scaling def debuff to improve his NP damage.
Mozart is able to buff Robin’s Arts damage for a turn, and with his 3rd skill upgrade, produce 50 stars instantly. One can easily let Robin crit charge his NP instantly with an NP AA buffed only by his Golden Rule, and then buff the second one with Mozart’s Arts buff.
Tamamo is able to buff Robin’s Arts very well, charge his NP, and reduce his CD time. Tamamo would be able to improve his NP damage and spam, as well as reduce the downtime of his Golden Rule.
Gilgamesh is able to provide Robin Hood 2 multiplicative buffs to let his damage scale high. He is also able to buff the party’s stargen by 100% for three turns, which lets Robin generate quite a good amount on his Quicks and Arts, and use them to critcharge his NP.
Best CEs
Increase in Arts Performance
Increasing his Arts performance is equivalent to giving Robin an Arts buff, which increases his damage and multiplies with his NP gain up skill. This lets Robin hit harder while also charge faster.
NP damage CEs scale considerably higher than Arts up CEs, so if Robin is with a teammate that provides Arts buffs, an NP damage CE would be more preferable to add multiply his NP damage further.
When equipped to Robin Hood (Archer) only, increase Arts Card effectiveness for all allies by 15% while on the field

Sabotage A
While the scaling for this skill is meager, it’s most important point is that it reliably inflicts poison. Due to the nature of Robin’s NP needing poison to deal high damage, this skill acts as a buff for him. At max level it would have effect for 5 turns and have a 5 turn CD, making it practically permanent. The atk down isn’t as relevant, but is pretty handy when stacking atk downs and def ups, which lets Robin aid the team’s survival in a way.
Golden Rule E
Robin Hood’s Golden Rule maxes at a 30%, which is pretty humble. But nevertheless it is an important tool for Robin. Due to having the high starweight of an Archer, and decent crit generation, Robin is able to utilize his NP gain skill in the best way there is to utilize them: critcharging. Even at 30% max, Robin is able to charge remarkably fast when he crits on his Arts or Quicks, aiding his potential to spam his NP.
May King EX
Robin’s NP damage isn’t reliant on his 3rd skill, which is why he is relevant even from the beginning. However, his 3rd skill is definitely useful in providing a mode for survival and aiding his NP gain. Since Golden Rule is best utilized with crits, the stars gained from May King EX lets you use Golden Rule in it’s most effective method reliably.
However, due to it being merged with a dodge, one must take precaution in timing it.

With a QQAAB deck, Robin is able to generate stars decently for himself without sacrificing much NP gain. This lets his entire kit work in sync independently.
