[JP] Mozart’s defining trait is being a cheap Arts-burst support. His kit is able to aid the party’s NP spam, and offer chance-based atk and def downs on his NP, covering for the team and increase damage to an extent. Being a 1*, it’s almost impossible not to get him, and the costs his asks for his skills is incredibly cheap, making him extremely affordable with his kit.
[NA] Mozart’s skill upgrade comes later in the form of his 3rd skill, which gives a large amount of stars. Without it, it lowers the amount of burst he is able to provide to the team, but not to the extent that it horribly cripples his performance.
Pros
Extremely cheap material costs lets you max him for very little
Has the highest percentage of Arts up among the lowstar Arts supports
NP gives chance to aid team damage and survival
Instant 50 stars with his 3rd skill at max ensures your entire team crits for a turn(JP)
Cons
Horrendous 1* stats.
NP is based on chance.
Full support capability requires upgrade that comes later.
Borderline useless 2nd skill.
Strategies & Tips
Mozart is used to support Arts teams through bursts of damage and NP charge. It’s usually best to use Mozart with an Arts damage dealer, as he can buff Arts with a high percentage buff, and giving instant stars on his 3rd skill(JP) allows for the damager to spam their NPs, specially when combined with his Arts buff. The most common tactic is to use his 1st and 3rd skills simultaneously to let an Arts damager deal high damage and instantly recharge the gauge through an NPAA. His 3rd skill can be used with Arts chains to crit charge your party’s NP as well, and while you might want to save his 1st skill for the NP, it can be used to further boost NP gain.
Best Servants to Work with
Arts Damagers Emiya, Robin Hood, Nero Claudius (Bride)(JP), Euryale, Medea, Geronimo, Ryougi Shiki, Hassan of the Hundred Faces, Shuten Douji, Nitocris, Lancelot, Chloe von Einzbern, Emiya (Alter), BB Due to being an accessible Arts support, Mozart is able to support a lot of damagers, due to being able to increase their NP spam and damage. However, these listed are the ones he can support most notably. Interesting to note as well is that some of them have only 1 turn Arts buffs. With Mozart, you can let the damager critcharge with their own Arts buff for an NPAA, thus recharging their NP. Since they only have a 1 turn Arts buff, Mozart can then use his 1st skill to buff their NPs instead, letting them hit NPs consecutively while buffed.
Hans provides Arts cards to increase Arts chains, and can passively give Robin stars to critcharge with. Hans is also able to sustain Robin through healing and def buffs, as well as buff his NP with atk up.
Provides offensive and defensive buffs through his skills and NP, as well as charging the party’s NP gauge, allowing him to stack with Mozart and increase Mozart’s NP usage speed.
Gilgamesh is able to provide 2 buffs for Robin, while also buffing his defense. He also increases the team’s stargeneration by an amazing amount, letting Robin generate stars for himself reliably.
Due to Mozart’s NP being chance-based, a CE to increase these chances can make him more stable and reliable for long battles or hard battles where you need his atk down. It also counters most Magic Resistance passives.
If one doesn’t have Debuff Rate up CEs, increasing his NP gain can also indirectly increase the chances of his NP to hit, by increasing the number of times and speed he uses his NP.
Mozart is able to provide both an Arts up and def down to multiply together for a Servant’s damage. With his bond CE, Mozart is able to provide a 20% increase in NP damage for his allies, which multiplies with his other offensive buffs and debuffs, scaling to a total 107% increase in Arts NP damage.

Requiem for Death is a support NP that gives chance to debuff the enemy’s attack & defense and apply curse for 3 turns. Being a 1*, Mozart’s NP is easy to max, so the chance would easily be maxed to 80%. While an 80% chance for either buff is reliable for most of the time, the problem is when the enemy has some sort of debuff resistance, which immediately lowers the NP’s effectiveness in hitting. In a nutshell, it’s not as reliable as one would hope, but it still provides good chance to aid the team’s survival or increase damage.

Upgrade Priority
Protection of the Muse (False) EX / Cooldown: 7-5 Increases the effectiveness of Arts Cards of the party (1 turn)
Mozart’s core skill. An Arts up increases both NP gain and damage, making it an important part for Arts teams, and a useful tool for non-Arts teams in gaining more NP. It scales rather highly, maxing at 44% at level 10.
Eye for Art B / Cooldown: 7-5 Decreases the NP damage of a Servant enemy (1 turn)
A skill that sounds good on paper, however it is different in effect. It maxes at a meager 18% at level 10, meaning it doesn’t affect enemy NPs relevantly at all.
A Little Night Music / Cooldown: 8-6 [Strengthening Upgrade] Gain critical stars
An extremely useful skill that goes along well with Protection of the Muse. It instantly gives 50 stars at level 10, and allows for an increase in damage via crits, or critcharging with his 1st skill. This makes Mozart an effective support for Arts Servants to burst-spam their NP.
Due to Mozart being a 1*, his skills are extremely cheap to max, so take this into consideration when judging his value.

Mozart comes with a standard Caster QAAAB deck, which is the best deck an Arts-oriented Caster can have. This lets him field more Arts cards for the team, aiding NP gain through Arts chains.
