Ibaraki’s strength as a Berserker is her rounded skillset. She’s able to both defend and attack to a good extent, which can be stacked with external aid for good effect. However, with a wide-focused skillset she also has no hard defensive options, which still makes her reliant on specific supports for survival.
Pros
Great base NP gain.
ATK up + DEF down makes for great offensive damage.
60% DEF up for 1 turn can aid DEF stacking strategies.
NP removes buffs, which gives great utility for NP brave chains and taking away an enemy’s offensive buffs.
Cons
No hard defensive skills.
Strategies & Tips
Ibaraki is more of a balanced, rounded Zerk. Though she may not have any hard survival skills, her DEF up is easy to stack with, enabling her to tank hard for a turn. She’s best with supports who can capitalize on both her defense. She gains NP well by herself with her base gain, giving her good access to her NP. Her buffs also suffice for damage, so it is definitely best to focus on her survival. All in all, Ibaraki is a strong offensive Berserker with some utility to give her supports an easier time in keeping her alive.
Noble Phantasm
Ibaraki’s NP does good damage with her own buffs, and removes the enemy’s buffs after damage. It’s very useful to remove the enemy’s defensive buffs for her NP brave chains. And although a small percent, the DEF down it inflicts afterward aids her brave chain damage very well, as it stacks quite nicely with her own skills and passive.
Hans is able to stack up his DEF and ATK buffs for Ibaraki’s survival and damage. He’s also able to heal her and provide Arts cards to be used as the first card in a chain, which can be very useful in boosting Ibaraki’s already great NP gain.
Waver’s DEF up can stack up with Ibaraki’s Morph skill, and with it’s DMG Cut effect it can effectively make Ibaraki take very little damagel. His ATK up and DEF down also stack up for an incredible amount, which boosts Ibaraki’s own damage by a considerable amount.
George offers a 3-turn taunt to cover for Ibaraki, which is a great asset to boost her survival for long-term fights. George also provides Arts cards to give access to Arts chains, which can charge Ibaraki’s NP faster, and Ibaraki’s buffs on her 1st skill can let George’s NP deal some damage when used, which can prove to be a useful asset as a secondary burst function for the team.
Merlin is able to provide a high-scaling Buster up for Ibaraki, which boosts her NP and Buster damage incredibly. He’s also able to heal her for great amounts and charge her NP passively, which when combined with her own kit, allows her to use NP with some frequency as she’s sustained.
Mash is an incredible ally for Ibaraki, as with Mash Ibaraki becomes able to tank enemy NPs with ease. With Ibaraki’s own DEF up stacked with Mash’s, Ibaraki can immediately reach 100% DEF for a turn, and is able to tank for a good amount for the next turns. Mash is also able to buff her ATK very well, which increases her overall damage even more.
As Ibaraki already owns an ATK up and NP damage up, a boost in Buster performance is ideal for her. It adds up with her Mad Enhancement to boost her NP and Buster cards’ damage, making hit very hard.
A boost in NP damage does well to boost her NP damage in case one does not have a Buster up CE. It stacks up with her 1st skill to a great effect, making it an effective CE in increasing her damage further.

Demonkin Magic A
A very good skill to increase Ibaraki’s damage all around. It scales for a very good amount, and has the benefit of being AoE, which increases the party’s overall damage. While one wouldn’t expect Ibaraki to NP quickly enough to take advantage of the NP buff’s 3 turn duration, it gives some flexibility in usage, as one would not necessarily need to sacrifice it when you need only the ATK buff.
Disengage A
As Berserkers are already fragile, a debuff clear skill is always welcome to keep them safe from unwanted DEF downs and the like. While the heal is too small to say she has great survivability, it’s worth using when one is able to reduce the damage she takes through DEF buffs from her 3rd skill and supports.
Morph A
A 60% DEF up is very nice on a Berserker, even if it only lasts for one turn. This skill enables Ibaraki to tank enemy NPs with DEF buffs from her supports, which gives her great potential in lasting long in hard battles. All in all this skill alone isn’t enough to call her survival amazing, but what it grants is the potential to stack it with external aid, which can scale very well with relative ease.

A QABBB deck is usually a Berserker’s best deck, and the same stands for Ibaraki, as with her ATK buffs and stats she’s able to hit very well on her NP and Buster chains. Even then, she doesn’t suffer too much on NP gain, as her hitcount on her Quick and Extra cards are very good in number.
