This CE doubles a Servant's defense against male enemies, and seeing that there are a lot of male enemies, it may become useful. The catch is that it only activates once when your Servant comes into the frontline, and only for 3 attacks. As a bonus, it also increases Critical Star generations.
The Critical Star generation is generally outclassed by the CE Be Elegant, but the double defense against male can come in useful at certain times. As a 5★ CE, its HP increase is higher than other CE with male defense, Holy Shroud of Magdalene, which offers a more continuous defense.
In case of fighting male enemies or bosses where early survivability is more valued, you can put this on fragile support Servants. A tank or taunter would require a continuous defense increase and they don't always have to use their taunt on the first round.
