Queen Medb is classified as a Male KIller as her NP deals extra damage against them and also has the ability to charm them with her skill. Even though her damage would be much lower when going up against other enemies, she is still be able to provide a huge attack boost to her party with her offensive buff.
Pros
Strong counter to male enemies
As there are a few servants in game that have a NP that deals extra damage to female servants such as Carmilla and Jack the Ripper, Medb on the other hand does the opposite by dealing additional damage if the enemy targeted by her NP is male. Besides that, she also possesses the ability to charm a male enemy with her Alluring Nightingale skill, rendering him immobilized for a turn.
Easy to accumulate NP
As a Rider class servant, Medb’s NP gain is pretty decent especially with her seven hits Extra attack and her high star absorption rate also allows her to critical easily, enabling her to build up her NP gauge without much hassle. Besides that, her Golden Rule skill also charges her NP gauge by 10% for three turns, allowing her to fully charge her NP within a few turns after using it.
Support male servants
Although at first Medb only has the regular Charisma skill that increases her party members’ damage, but after completing her Interlude quest it will be upgraded to Discipline of Queen which provides an additional damage boost up to 20% to male servants. Coupled with the regular damage boost, male servants in her party would have their attacks increased by 40% for three turns at max level which is a very strong offensive buff.
Cons
Situational servant to be used
As Medb’s NP only deals extra damage against male enemies, its damage is kind of average when used against other type of enemies as her base attack stat is quite low for a 5* servant and does not have a higher HP stat to compensate for it. Besides that, she is also only be able to unleash her true potential when paired with male servants in a party as the additional attack buff from her Discipline of Queen skill only works on male servants.
Strategies & Tips
Medb sort of works like a semi-attacker in a party as her damage against non-male enemies is quite lacking which also renders her third skill useless. However, she does have a pretty decent offensive buff that is best to use within a party full of male servants and the ability to gain NP charges and recover HP every turn up to three turns makes her suitable servant to be brought to long battles.
Noble Phantasm
Medb’s Noble Phantasm, Chariot My Love is a single target NP that deals additional damage against male enemies while reducing their Mental Debuff resistance for three turns, allowing her charm skill to have a higher chance of success on the next turn.
As both of them are Rider class servants, coupled with another support and they will be a strong party to go against Caster class enemies. Besides that, Kintoki’s high star generation rate is also compatible with Medb which allows her to deal more damage.
The additional critical stars gained per turn allows Medb to hit more criticals due to the nature of Rider class servants having a high star absorption. Besides that, the boost to Buster cards’ performance also increases her NP damage.
The increase in NP and critical damage can compensate for the damage loss when facing against non-male servants and the NP charge at the start of the battle enables Medb to use her NP much faster.
As Medb’s NP is also a Buster type, this CE can be used to increase her overall damage output while still being able to gain NP charges consistently with her Golden Rule skill.
When equipped to Medb and while she is on the field, increase NP Gain for all allies by 15%.

Skills Upgrade Priority
Skill Priority: 2 > 1 > 3
We would like to raise Medb’s second skill as the top priority due to the fact that after completing her Interlude quest it is going to provide a total of whopping 40% boost to male servants’ attack for three turns while healing herself for a bit of HP. After that, we want to level her first skill next as it provides both NP and HP regeneration and immunity to debuffs. We save the third skill for the last as the chance of it succeeding is only at 80% even when maxed, not to mention that it only works on male enemies.

Medb’s command cards has a pretty decent NP gain especially if you managed to pull off a Brave Chain as her seven hits Extra attack is going to charge up your NP gauge by a lot with an Arts start.
Sure let's put Wolves of Mibu that ce that increase Quick card effectiveness on a Servant with only 1 Quick card. Seriously there are a bunch of different better option for her.
Btw, Medb has really good synergy with Black Grail as the heal from her skills help mitigate Black Grail demerit effect.
