Enkidu is a Servant most well-known for their durability. Possessing a powerful healing skill and (after her Strengthening Quest) a 5-turn cooldown Evasion skill, they are one of the most survivable Servants in the game. Their Noble Phantasm also applies a stun on Divine opponents, meaning that Enkidu can be extremely useful in certain quests. Enkidu is also able to apply a critical chance debuff on opponent as well as remove their own debuffs, which gives them extra flexibility in more tricky quests. Enkidu also has access to an Evasion removal, though it is more situational compared to their other features.
However, Enkidu’s QQQAB deck means that they can’t reliably create Arts chains, which may hinder the party’s NP gain (though Enkidu possesses great NP charging rate, which means they themselves are not really affected by this) . It also means that they lack access to a Buster brave chain, which somewhat hinders their overall damage. On the positive side, it offers them critical star generation ability unusually high for a Lancer.
Pros
High NP Gain
Very high survivability
High Flexibility
Decent critical star generation
Cons
Deck has questionable synergy
Has no Buster brave chain
Strategies & Tips
Enkidu is mostly used as a damage dealer, emphasizing on their NP damage and Brave Chains. They are highly survivable and self-sufficient, needing a minimum amount of help from others. Still, additional help on damage and NP charging are highly appreciated. It would be better to maximize Enkidu’s damage on turns where their Buster card is available.
Noble Phantasm
Enuma Elish is a single-target damaging Buster-type Noble Phantasm. It applies a defense debuff on the target, and a 500% chance to apply a Stun if the target is Divine. Being single-target, it deals a good amount of damage, and acts as Enkidu’s main cannon.
Merlin enhances Enkidu’s great survival, and more importantly, damage. With the additional critical stars generated, he is also able to help Enkidu perform critical hits more reliably. However, it may be argued that Merlin’s heals make Enkidu’s large heal somewhat unnecessary - though it can still save them from a pinch.
Enkidu’s own tankiness means that Nightingale can tend to her own HP rather freely, and her Buster buff as well as Berserker class is able to increase the team’s overall damage. Enkidu’s critical down also helps Nightingale immensely in boss fights, hindering stray crits from hitting the latter.
Hans’ critical star generation support and buffs amplify Enkidu’s assets, meaning that the team will be able to produce a good amount of critical stars. A weak link in the composition is Hans’ lower HP, but a combination of heals, defense buffs and Enkidu’s critical down works wonders to mitigate this.
Emphasizes on Enkidu’s NP damage and relative NP spammy-ness. This type of CE is useful in situations where Enkidu is expected to spam NP, rather than heavy damage Brave chains.
Allows Enkidu to more reliably gather critical stars. Useful in teams with moderate star generation rate, especially if Enkidu is the main damage dealer.
Maximizes Enkidu’s overall damage. This type of CE is mostly used when Enkidu is paired with decent damage supports, and when constant damage is expected from them.
When equipped to Enkidu (Lancer) only, restore HP for all allies by 500 each turn while on the field

Upgrade Priority
Transformation A This skill applies a Buster buff on Enkidu, with an additional chance to apply an Arts buff OR a Quick buff. No doubt meant to (somewhat) make up for Enkidu’s rather awkward deck, this skill means that her Quick and Arts cards would be able to have greater performance in their Brave chain - provided that the correct card buff procs. Being Enkidu’s primary buffing skill, this skill should be leveled first.
Presence Detection A+ (A++ post-upgrade) Decreases an opponent’s critical chance for three turns, and removes their evasion buff. While this skill is a highly situational one initially, it becomes significantly more useful with the addition of Enkidu’s Evasion buff. This skill should be leveled last before strengthening, and second after it.
Perfect Form A Removes Enkidu’s debuffs and greatly heals them. The most powerful self-healing skill in the game, it comes at the price of having an extremely long cooldown. As a result, it should generally be leveled last (after Presence Detection’s upgrade), as it benefits less from the cooldown reduction.

Enkidu’s QQQAB deck, coupled with their high hitcount, means that they can generate critical stars rather reliably. Though the deck comes at the price of having less damage and a harder time creating Arts chains, it also gives Enkidu extra flexibility. This also makes his Brave chains more tricky, as their Buster card may not be available during the Brave chain turn. Fortunately, his own NP gain is not really impaired by the deck due to his good base NP gain.
