Heroine Alter has finally gotten the love she deserves with the recent round of strengthening quests. This pushes her to a more than viable spot in the meta, a big gap from what she was from her release. She focuses on taking damage and hitting back harder, all the while gaining crit stars to support her team. Though her attack stats are a bit lackluster for her class, she makes up with attack buffs that are up almost every turn. Her base HP is regarded as pretty high among other berserkers and this is topped up by her recovery skills.
Heroine alter’s generation stats are well above the average, especially on the NP side of things. Her ABQ chain itself can fill up 40% of her gauge, allowing her to deal out consistent damage via her NP. Her stargen isn’t anywhere near as flashy as her NP gen however, generating around 20 stars on a brave chain give or take a few. The lack of the passive skill riding doesn’t help her out either, only receiving Mad enhancement.
Heroine Alter’s original skills are a bit of a letdown, but after her strengthening, she nets a rather solid skillset. Her first skill gives her bonus recovery and then proceeds to heal her for a solid amount, covering for her weakness in the berserker class. Her second skill is instinct, a skill that most players will cringe at upon sight. This is fixed by becoming a quick steroid which lasts for 3 turns on top of giving additional stars upon activation. Her last skill is a unique one, causing a single servant’s star weight to drop while buffing the entire team. This is very important to her skillset and has a rather low cooldown, ensuring she gets it up often. Heroine Alter is a solid servant, but requires the right team to really allow her to shine.
Pros
Good NP gen allows her to spam her NP consistently
Her healing skill allows her to stay on the field longer despite being in the Berserker class
Decent crit support in her third skill
Cons
Low stargen is counterproductive to her role in a team
Her stats are rather oddly placed despite being in the Berserker class
Strategies & Tips
Heroine Alter enjoys being paired with someone who can make use of the star generation she provides within the team, either having high star weightage or having high critical damage buffs. Having a healer by the ready also won’t hurt, allowing her to dish out damage to enemies. Having team mates of the rider or archer class will be extremely helpful, due to their high star weight, making Heroine Alter’s job much easier. Heroine Alter’s last skill should be used before a unit with a crit chain is about to attack to ensure that all the crit stars will go to that servant while also boosting the damage output. Her second skill can be popped before using her NP or whenever a quick surge of crit stars is needed. Her first skill should be used when she is low on health or before a heal skill is used on her so as to maximize the effects of the skill. The overcharge on her NP gives her extra damage to saber class enemies, so that is a point to be remembered.
Noble Phantasm
Crosscalibur is a single target Quick NP that does a decent amount of damage to enemies, though it’s overcharge allows it to deal more damage to enemies of the saber class. Crosscalibur generates a decent amount of NP and stars upon activation, though it’s amounts are nothing to write home about. It’s damage is held back by Heroine Alter’s low attack stat but is somewhat fixed by her upgraded second skill.
It seems that most Alters are able to synergize well, and this is especially the case with Jalter. Jalter focuses heavily on high crit damage, something Heroine Alter excels in providing and supporting. On top of that, Jalter’s first skill gives extra damage to Heroine Alter due to her dragon trait.
Minamoto is heavily crit dependant, which is a purpose that Heroine alter fulfills. Minamoto also buffs the team and supports their stargen, helping Heroine Alter’s to generate more stars than she normally would. This in turn allows Minamoto to hit large numbers on her crits, something which she excels at doing.
Our favourite father Lancelot is an excellent servant to pair with Heroine Alter, as he has high star weight from his skills, high crit damage and passive crit generation built into his kit. This supports Heroine Alter with star gen, causing Lancelot to crit consistently and to push out huge numbers.
Dumplings over flowers is a great CE on Heroine Alter, improving her two strongest points, her quick card damage and her NP damage. This helps her to deal more damage on her NP while also further boosting the consistency on her Quick cards.
Knights of Marines gives Heroine Alter some starting NP gauge, allowing her to NP earlier while also buffing her quick damage, making quick work of her enemies in an efficient manner.
No quick servant is ever complete without Imaginary around being recommended as their CE. Giving a flat boost to the servants quick damage is just what Heroine Alter requires while also helping her increase her stargen during her attacks.
Volumen is a CE which provides 3 hits of invincibility as well as a flat bonus to all her damage. This helps with her weakness as a berserker while also allowing her to push out more damage in the long run. Though it only lasts for 3 hits, it helps incredibly with her survivability.

Black bean paste EX
Black bean paste is a great support skill which helps Heroine Alter keep her high HP stat filled up at all times. It synergizes well with other healers and cover up for her class weakness as a berserker. However this is not the most important skill within her kit. As such, this skill should be leveled last.
Instantaneous shadowless Blade C+
Ignoring the horrible skill instinct, upon upgrade this skill singlehandedly brings heroine alter into the spotlight, allowing her to push out the damage she needs to on her NP while also giving far more stars than her initial instinct skill could. This skill should be leveled first.
Sovereign’s invisible hand
This skill serves as Heroine Alter’s main purpose, allowing her to focus stars towards a teammate of her choice. Coupled with her low star weight, she ensures her team mates crit and crit hard with the additional offense buff she provides. This skill should be leveled second.

Heroine alter’s deck does not follow the traditional berserker, giving her 2 Quick cards, 1 Arts and 2 Buster. While her NP gen is great, especially in AQQ chains, her star gen falls short, even in QAQ chains. Her Ex card has a decent 5 hitcount, which allows her to get more bang for her buck. However, being a berserker makes her lose out on the stargen she so sorely needs.
