  • Herc's Art debuff: On Wave 3 Turn 1, he will cast a permanent team Art debuff. This is a REALLY severe debuff (around 90%) and can be removed. This does not affect backline Servants and he will not recast this.

  • NP has very high instant kill chance.
  • When death: Scathach will cast a skill that instantly kills everyone, increasing her crit chance and crit damage, every hit she does can also inflict instant death (low chance than her NP).

  • Team NP power down (10 turns, including reserve, not removable, around 50%).
  • Reduce NP gauge to 0 (including reserve).

  • Nero on death: Guts on her allies (1 time Guts - 20% HP).
  • NP: Deal damage to all of your allies.

How to beat boss servants

  • Medea should generally be killed second-last (after depleting Nero’s Guts, but before killing her for good); if Medea is killed too early, her 50% defense up will be a severe hindrance.
  • Debuff removals are recommended to take care of Jack’s debuff, although Servants with multiple buffing skills such as Waver work as well.
  • When bringing along a Guts-reliant Servant (i.e. Cu Chulainn (Alter)), Ozymandias should be killed as late as possible.
  • Servants with Taunt are recommended for the stage, as the damage dealer would most likely be a Berserker.
  • Alternatively, with LB event CE and the help of Command Seals, it is possible to have an AoE NP Berserker (Lancelot / Minamoto no Yorimitsu) wipe the enemies with two consecutive Noble Phantasms. Sherlock Holmes is also recommended for this strategy.
