My Orion was charmed by Marie, but the skill should only affect males right? Is this a bug or is Orion actually a man lol.

servant Orion actually consist of two individuals. The first one is Orion (male), the teddy bear on the girl shoulder. The second one is Artemis, the girl who attack on battle.
In the game, your servant is Orion, not Artemis. Artemis role is only as Orion's weapon.
So, actually Marie charmed your Orion (teddy bear), not the Artemis.
